filter faucet leaks? The principle of filtering faucets
The principle of filtering faucets
The filtering faucet has more filter functions than ordinary faucets, so here we first introduce the principle of filters. The water to be processed in the filter enters the body through the inlet, and impurities in the water are deposited on the stainless steel filter, thereby creating a pressure difference. The pressure difference change of the inlet and outlet ports is monitored through the differential pressure switch. When the pressure difference reaches the set value, the electronic controller gives the hydraulic control valve to drive the motor signal. After the equipment is installed, the technicians will debug, set the filter time and cleaning conversion time, and the water to be processed enters the body from the inlet, and the filter begins to work normally. When the preset cleaning time is reached, the electric controller sends the hydraulic control valve and drives the motor signal, causing the following actions: the motor drives the brush to rotate, cleans the filter element, and at the same time, the control valve opens to discharge sewage. The entire cleaning process only lasts for dozens of seconds. When the cleaning is over, the control valve is closed, the motor stops rotating, the system returns to its initial state, and begins to enter the next filtration process. The interior of the filter housing is mainly composed of a thick filter mesh, a fine filter mesh, a sewage pipe, a stainless steel brush or stainless steel suction nozzle, a sealing ring, an anti-corrosion coating, a rotating shaft, etc.
Use filter media to separate the container into upper and lower chambers to form a simple filter. The suspension is added to the upper chamber, and under pressure, it enters the lower chamber through the filter medium and becomes a filtrate. Solid particles are trapped on the surface of the filter medium to form a filter residue (or filter cake). During the filtration process, the filter slag layer with the surface area of the filter media gradually thickens, and the resistance of the liquid passing through the filter slag layer increases accordingly. The filtration rate is reduced. When the filter chamber is filled with filter slag or the filtration rate is too small, stop filtration, remove filter slag, and regenerate the filter media to complete a filtration cycle.
The liquid must overcome the resistance through the filter slag layer and the filter media, so there must be a pressure difference on both sides of the filter media, which is the driving force for achieving filtration. Increasing the pressure difference can accelerate filtration, but the deformed particles after being pressed can easily clog the pores of the filter media during large pressure difference, and filtration will slow down.
suspension filtration includes three methods: filtration slag layer filtration, deep filtration and screen filtration.
① Deep filtration:
The filter medium is thicker, the suspension contains fewer solid particles, and the particles are smaller than the pores of the filter medium. During filtration, particles are adsorbed in the pores after entering, such as filtration of porous plastic tube filters and sand filters.
② Filtration slag layer filtration: In the initial stage of filtration, the filter media can only retain large solid particles, and small particles pass through the filter media with the filtrate. After the initial filter slag layer is formed, the filter slag layer plays a major role in filtration, and at this time, both large and small particles are trapped, such as the filtration of a plate and frame filter press.
③Sieve filtration: The solid particles trapped by
are larger than the pores of the filter medium, and the filter medium does not adsorb solid particles, such as a rotary filtration screen to filter out coarse impurities in the sewage. In the actual filtering process, three methods often appear simultaneously or successively. What should I do if the
filter faucet leaks?
1. Damage of water stop tape
Tighten the faucet and use a wrench to rotate the faucet counterclockwise, then use a threaded hole to roll the tape clockwise for six times. After it is done, twist the faucet again, then turn on the switch to try if there will be any leakage.
2. Only by knowing yourself and others can you win every battle, and the same is true for faucet repair. If you want to repair the water leakage of the faucet, you must understand the reason for the water leakage. If the shaft pad in the faucet is worn, then use pliers to loosen the cover bolt, then remove the shaft pad and replace it with a new one.
3. Water leakage at the tap joint junction
Send off the cover nut of the faucet, then tie it again or you can directly replace it with a new U-shaped gasket.
In addition, to determine whether there is water leakage on your faucet, you can understand it by observing the water outlet of the faucet. Generally, if the faucet leaks more and more, the water outlet of the faucet will become larger and larger.
