Youma Strategy released its performance report on Wednesday (May 21), pointing out that in the second half of the year, its real estate development business revenue rose 33% year-on-year to US$61.36 million. At the same time, the revenue of the catering business also increased by 17% to US$17.67 million; on the other hand, the real estate services, leasing and mobile financial services businesses declined.
The company will also continue to promote real estate projects in the Yangon area, with unrecorded revenues of US$92.5 million. "Although market sentiment remains cautious, the demand for land-based residential buildings is still resilient."
For the whole year, Youma's strategic net profit fell 36% year-on-year to US$13.58 million, and its revenue also fell 7% to US$201.59 million.
Thanks to the outstanding performance of the real estate development business, Yoma Strategic's net profit in the second half of fiscal 2025 increased by 7% year-on-year to US$24.1 million, and its revenue also rose by 0.68% to US$109.97 million.
Looking to the future, Youma Strategy says that the operating environment is still affected by macroeconomic instability and regulatory policy fluctuations. Speaking of the impact of the magnitude 7.7 earthquake in central Myanmar in March this year, Yuma Strategy said that since its business location Yangon is not a severely affected area, its operation is quite limited.
