In the activities of people decorating room rooms and painting furniture, doors and windows, clothing is often contaminated by resin paint, and resin dripping on clothes gradually consolidates into dirt.
The following are the cleaning methods for various types of resin spots:
1. Natural resins and asphalt spots can be cleaned by any solvent such as turpentine, alcohol, acetone, gasoline, carbon tetrachloride, or a mixture of them. If the resin stains are old, you should first soften it with a little grease or margarine, and then scrub it with this solution.
2. Coal tar spots should be wet with gasoline first and then washed with gasoline. If the coal tar is stained old, use an equal amount of gasoline and carbon tetrachloride to clean it.
3. The old stains of resin substances are cleaned with a mixture of 25 parts of concentrated denatured alcohol, 4 parts of ammonia with a concentration of 10% and 1 part of gasoline. It can also be cleaned with the following formula: a mixture consisting of 273 ml of carbon tetrachloride, 182 ml of gasoline, 5.6 ml of chloroform and 0.6 grams of flavor.
