This summer, Newcastle hit a wall in the transfer market many times, and many players refused to join other clubs. As the transfer window enters the final stage, the Magpies are still looking for the right players in the transfer market, Theathletic reveals Newcastle's transfer trends.

Despite its ambitious early in the transfer window, Cesco became the latest player to reject Newcastle, and the Slovenian eventually joined Manchester United. In terms of leaving the team, Dublafka, who has played for a long time, transferred to Burnley.

Meanwhile, Jaf is about to become Newcastle's third new player this summer, after they signed Iranga and Ramsdale. Jaf flew to England last Sunday evening and he underwent a medical examination on Monday. It is reported that the German international's fixed transfer fee is 35 million euros, and there is another 5 million euros as floating fees.

Java is Newcastle's long-term focus, and Eddie Howe admitted that he had admired the German international very much last year. Jaf's joining means Newcastle has finally strengthened the right center back position, which has been looking for the right player for three years.

On the offensive end, Newcastle is still in intense negotiations with Brentford to bring in Visa, but the deal can make significant progress at the moment. Within the club, Omorodion of Porto is considered an alternative.

Visa is considered the ideal replacement for Callum-Wilson, but Brentford will not sell Visa until it finds a replacement. Even then, Newcastle will have to reach an agreement with Brentford on transfer fees, and they will not pay excessive transfer fees for players who will be over 29 next month.

Newcastle is following Porto's Omorodion, and they also like the 21-year-old striker, but the deal will be very complicated and invested a lot. Wolves' Larson is also considering it, but the opponent is not willing to sell the striker. If Visa is not possible, Newcastle is considering multiple alternatives, but they don’t have much time. Therefore, against Villa in the first round of the new season, Anthony Gordon will play the guest center.

Although the team has starting midfielders like Jolinton, Tonali and Guimarães in the team, Newcastle still needs to introduce a midfielder after Longstaff left the team.
