The Athletic reported that Everton has reached an agreement with Manchester City on loan on Gallish.

Although the deal is yet to be confirmed, the England international's medical examination has been put on the agenda. On August 6, The Athletic disclosed that Everton had negotiated a transfer for 29-year-old Gallish, and his Manchester City contract expired in 2027.

Last season, Gralish only started 16 times in various competitions (7 times in the Premier League). Not only did he miss Manchester City's final match (Guardiola called "unpersonal reasons"), but he also did not participate in this summer's Club Cup with the team. Foden, Savigno, Doku, De Bruyne, Marmush and B seats are often preferred.

This player produced by Villa youth training and became the captain in 2019, joined Manchester City for 100 million pounds (British player transfer fee record), contributing 17 goals and 23 assists in 157 games, winning the Premier League with the team three times, and winning the Champions League, FA Cup and Club World Cup. During the triple-winning 2022-23 season, he made 50 appearances and started the Champions League knockout round, and is a core member.

Guardiola publicly looked forward to his return to his peak state: "Of course I want Gallish when he was in the treble, but I must stay awake. I tried my best to join him because I had witnessed his ability."

This transfer will make Gallish the fifth signing this summer.
