Mary Jane (MJ for short), who lives on the Isle of Man, is a mix of a Great Dane and an American Bulldog. MJ’s body started to appear strange earlier, so the dog owner Joanne Hine took her to the veterinarian. As a result, doctors found that she was pregnant and could give birth to six to eight puppies. Joanne was originally happy that MJ was pregnant, but every time she had a prenatal check-up, the doctor pointed out that MJ was pregnant with more puppies, and the actual number of puppies may be higher than expected. This reason was scary, so the doctor recommended that the Great Dane need to be neutered immediately.

On November 20 last year, MJ finally gave birth to 21 puppies, which shocked Joanne! The puppies' father is a Rottweiler, so they inherit the coat color and appearance of their father and mother, and they look very cute. Unfortunately, 6 puppies died shortly after they were born.
According to the Guinness Book of World Records, a mastiff named "Tia" gave birth to 24 puppies in 2004, setting a record for the most puppies. However, that litter of puppies was delivered by caesarean section, and all of MJ’s puppies were delivered naturally, which means it may have set a record for the most puppies born naturally! The puppies need to be fed every 2 hours, but MJ only has 9 nipples. To keep all the puppies warm and fed, Joanne also needs to help take care of it. And she also likes these puppies very much. Not only does she help with feeding, she even makes a "crib" in the kitchen so that MJ and the puppies can rest peacefully.
Currently, only 2 puppies have been adopted, and the remaining puppies have not yet found their owners. Joanne is waiting for MJ to recover and will arrange for him to be neutered, mainly because the second litter of a dog mother usually has more puppies than the first litter, making it difficult to take care of them.
